My flash fiction piece about the demise of the relatively obscure Roman Emperor Domitian is now available through Sundial Magazine. Based on true events (well it is HISTORIC fiction) the story covers the last day of his reign.
Sundial Magazine has some wonderful short stories, poems, and flash fiction. I particularly enjoyed “Hieroglyphics,” by Karen Walker. Many of the writers have focussed on less celebrated periods in history. Personally, that appeals to me because there are only so many times you can read about Henry VIII.
I highly recommend the site in general (I would have even if my story hadn’t been published!) but please give “The Punctual Servant” a read. Let me know your thought on Twitter @DanTheMa1
